Hi Ladies,
With the Shopping Channel forum and various Yahoo groups forming then disappearing and taking all their valuable product info with them, self proclaimed 'info gatherers' like myself are having trouble getting product information. The sheer number of posts (which is mainly social chat) in the groups can make info difficult to find or it might just be that someone has posted it on a group you can't access!
I thought it might be easier to have one Proboards forum, similar in format to the now defunct Shopping Channel one, where everyone could post about their experience with items purchased there.
I decided what the heck ... I'll go for it! So here it is:

Please feel free to register and try it out. If you decide it's not for you then you can just delete your account in Modify Profile.
To avoid any problems, communication between members will only be by Personal Message (PM) and the default setting for new registrations is to hide your email. If you want another member to have your email address then you will have to send it to them. You are able to check if your PM has been read or not and all IP addresses (unique identifiable and traceable internet connections) are logged (but can't be seen by members) whenever anyone registers or posts on the forum.
I have loaded the name of the Shopping Channel and all the current presenters names into the auto censor list so they will automatically change to something else.
If you only want to get email alerts about new posts made in a specific board (eg. Beauty), you have the option of bookmarking individual topics so you are only notified about them and not every single post made on every topic.
There is a very efficient Search function to help you find specific words in posts or topic headings and you will also have the ability to modify your posts. You can have your own personal avatars and signatures again too.
